Amano Shrimp are known for their unique clear pattern and peaceful personality. They thrive in tanks with lots of plants, moss, caves, and hiding spaces. These beautiful bottom dwellers also make a great maintenance crew when grouped together. They will eat excess algae, uneaten fish food, and even fungus that may start to grow on bulb type plants such as Aponogeton bulbs or red tiger lotus. Shrimp will not defend themselves against predators and should only be kept with smaller non aggressive freshwater fish such as guppies, endlers, danios, corydoras ect. Each shrimp will be about ½” in length upon arrival.
