The Blue Platy is a beautiful fish with a blue body that has some shades of silver. This gorgeous species is tolerant to water fluctuations which make them a great pick for beginners. Platies are good community fish and get along well with other smaller non aggressive fish such as guppies, mollies, and swordtails . Rocks, plants, gravel, and lots of hiding spaces are recommended to create a comfortable environment for them to thrive. Platys are not picky eaters and do well with a mix of high quality flake and frozen foods.
