Cryptocoryne Spiralis

A hardy Crypt that grows tall thick leaves. Arguably the hardest of all the Crypts. Great for beginners as its it does well in a wide range of lighting and water parameters. Prefers to stay put once planted. PLEASE NOTE it is common for all Crytocorynes to “melt” when placed in a new home. Do not panic, this is normal and the best thing to do is to provide the plant time to come back. This plant can be grown in or out of the water, however when switching the plant will melt and come back. We recommend planting in a nutrient rich substrate to help promote growth. CO2 is not necessary but will help plant to reach its full potential.
